BPP do you have any insight/inside information on the sanctioning bodies (WBC) and whether they can/will prevent this?

my problem with this is why they're not going after valuev or briggs. why do they want the easier fighter. maskaev has an absolute mandatory. he has no right to be allowed to unify a belt. this is imo the worst choice they could make to unify the belts anyway. he hasn't done anything worthy. look who he's fighting in russia. he just wants a big payday so he can stop selling real estate or whatever and retire in america. why rush it...

don king will not let it happen, how many times do u guys have to hear it and still ask qestions,maskaev is the only other titleholder who isnt promoted by don king....

Have you ever heard of the promoter Don King? If so, then he's the sole reason why unification fights are so hard to make. Cong**** to Klitschko's and Maskaev's promoters if this fight gets made.

It all depends if the winner of Toney-Peter make a stink about it. The winner of that fight is due a mandatory shot at Maskaev. The fight is in January, giving more than enough time for a fight to be made with Maskaev for late April. It all depends on the WBC and if they allow it to happen.
