yeah im skeptical of this "news " also

wlad has a mandatory to make and maskaev is fighting next month...

maybe if maskaev called of okhello and agreed to fight wlad in jan/feb then it would work, otherwise wlad is gonna make his mandatory ASAP, but by that time the toney/peter winner will be threatening a lawsuit if maskaev doesent fight them

yea. okay. i'm kidding. stfu man. an out of shape peter? based on what? yea, nothing. give me a break. i guess toney was in the best shape of his life for that fight, right? the draw to rahman? TONEY was out of shape and overweight for that fight. no excuses. i guess it only works the other way right? anything to help your agenda against toney i guess. he won the fight against ruiz you ignorant jackass. it was changed to a no contest, and his belt was taken away. do you have anything else negative to say about this future hall of famer/boxing legend you would like to bring up now?

yes,,,,he cant pop a zit at heavyweight which is what cost him his fight with peter. peter was 10+ lbs heavier than his previous fight with wlad. thats way too heavy for him. toney on the other hand is always out of shape. I dont think he's capable of getting back down to the 220 range. yes,,he was a great middle and light heavy,,,but he's not championship caliber as a heavyweight. plain and simple

I think theres no doubt hes championship material since he dominated Ruiz. I think the roids he used were unintentional because lets face it, when he beat Ruiz he was a fat slob just like his other fights. I think he was coming off a couple of serious injuries and was trying to heal better. I dont think the drugs affected his performance at all. His fight against Rahman was a joke I agree. He got lucky with the draw and came in out of shape once again. I think he beat Peter in a close fight though, but the judges saw different. Hes getting one more shot though. If he beats Peter he will get his shot against any of the champs. If he actually hired a personal trainer like he said then Ill give him the nod in a victory. He busted Peter up last time, but gave away the last 30 seconds of rounds and made the fight look a lot closer than it should have been.

I'm not feeling anyone who'd rather see Toney get yet another title shot than a unification. Isn't this what we've been waiting years for?

As soon as Klit feels comfortable enough to let his right hand go is when this fight ends...I would say 3 or 4 rounds.

I think that Maskaev has to win in December and after that WBC must approve of another voluntary defense for Maskaev. Then we'll know if the fight will take place.
