You guys are taking this BOXING vs MMA thingy ALL WRONG!!!!!

this is a HEALTHY competition between the 2 sports. It can ONLY better the two sports from what they are now!!!

If MMA starts towering over boxing, then boxing is gonna have to make some changes to gain back that lead. They already have a new scoring system starting up, They are having that superfighter thingy, and i expect some more changes over the next couple of years.

Then if Boxing manages to retake the lead, MMA is gonn have to make some changes and improve.

If anything, this competition is just gonna better our sports and make it more entertaing for the whole lot of us.

Boxing has great history, it's damn oldest sport, MMA or UFC wil not last forever, once the frat boys gets a little older they will stop watching these sports!

Can we please stop talking about MMA or UFC on a boxing forum, this **** is really getting annoying!

Last thing boxing need is to degrade to the level of reality TV like UFC.

Boxing needs to stay classy, this whole ****ing reality TV phase will be over soon and I dont want boxing to be a part of this reality ****e period.


What we need is fights, and champions.

the great boxers all have better legacys than mma,it could never take over boxing because of boxings history,boxing is 1 of the greatest sports in the world,mma is just a young aggressive sport full of so called hard men who have a chip on there shoulder and think they got sumthin 2 prove

Its a NON argument in the 1st place.. and so It gets tiring to keep hearing about the death of boxing and UFC killing it. Its like saying NASCAR is killing F1 Racing.. the ONLY thing they have in common is they are auto racing ..neither is a threat to each other BOTH have strong fan bases and will survive regardless the popularity of the other.. ALL boxing and MMA have in common is that they are 1on 1 combat sports.. I dont think either is affected by the other ERRMMM except Hectari..
