i definately think its something we (america) should just try or test out as they've been doing in other countries before jumping to conclusions about whether its good or not. Anything like this will have it's pros and cons...Comment

It depends on what way you look at it, could be a good idea also since fighters corners will know how they're doing since the 4th round and make the losing fighter press on harder. I think it can also clear up some of those bad controversial decisions, for instance Garnica-Lazcano, everyone thougt Garnica had the fight in the bag, if he would've known how bad some of the judges had it then could've done even a little more to win the fight.Bad idea. Open scoring will effect the fight too much. Say for instance it's a relatively close fight in most of the rounds but the judges are favoring Taylor. At the 8th round they announce the scores to say he's up 6-2, 6-2, 7-1 so he decides to completely coast the rest of the fight knowing he can't lose unless he gets knocked down or has a 10-8 round scored againts him. The plus side is it might fuel a fighter to give it his all when they're behind.. but most cornermen aren't delusional and tell fighters the truth in how they're doing in a fight so that isn't an issue.
Also... waiting until the end of the fight is that much more suspenseful.
I think open scoring is gonna be very good overall.Comment

It wont matter for this fight. This one will end in KO. But if a fighter coast because of a score, thats on him. Do you all not realize that both fighters will know the score? Lets say Taylor is way out in front at the end of 8 rounds. That will serve as a wake up call for Ouma. He knows then he must turn it up a notch or two to win. It works both ways.
As for suspense, thats for movies. Every other major sport has the score displayed from start to finish.Comment
