Morales to use Reyes gloves for an early kill

I suspect he's wearing them due to the fact that he hurt Manny with a strong jab in the 7th of the 2nd fight and nearly missed with a KO follow up straight right. I guess he believes if he can land those blows with Cleto Reyes this time then he'll be able to drop Manny. It's very possible, though if it doesn't work out, technical Morales wearing smaller gloves won't be able to block all them shots coming at him. I don't like that idea by Morales, his hands are gonna break or something and excuses might float. Manny said it best in a recent interview. No excuses at the end of this fight by him or Morales. Both 100%. Nothing can be said in the end.

I dont understand why if Reyes help your power, that fighters douldnt want to use them. Being a boxer, your hands should be conditioned to take punishent and not break.

I think that Morales just has brittle hands.
the problem here if he would be wearing reyes gloves that he could break his hand early, then he would be in even better trouble.

There's way too much controversy about the gloves that fighters wear. Up until the mid-late nineties fighters never complained about the brand or color of the gloves. Ya think Muhammad Ali or SRR ever cared about what gloves they were wearing? No, they just went out there and boxed!

Good thinking, now he'll break his hand in the first round and be defenseless. Seriously, Winning is a very protective glove and that he doesn't use it will be very much a detriment to him. His whole thinking once again is going in there and fighting fire with fire. And to be honest, that's his only hope. He isn't like Barrera, who can change and adapt in fights. Morales is really only a brawler, and when he's "boxing", that's really just him changing tempos and becoming passive. He has to outfight his opponents to win.
