A lot, but not all Wlad fans here are in denial. I dont think Wlad has what it takes anymore and I think its fun to get into discussions with the forum Wlad fans to see what excuse they come up with next. It seems like Neuraxis may actually be coming around. A week ago you would never see him type anything that concedes that Wlad got beat or looked bad, but now it looks like he starting to be more objective with his oppinions. I guess boxingscene it turning out to be good therapy for him.

I always liked Vitali over Wladimir.
I think if they ever fight, Vitali would KO Wladimir.
I read some of these posts the Wlad fans make and its like they think Wlad can do no wrong. And anything bad that happens to him is not Wlad's fault it always someone's elses fault. I respect the way you stand up for your fighter, but there is no need to be blind on some issues, like the issue of Wlads shot confidence and glass chin. This is not another Wlad hater thread its a thread to determine why Wlad fans are so rabid and obsessed of their fighter.
My argument is, I can't stand it when people call for Wladimir to retire. Seems ludicrous to me. If an accomplished fighter still has his wits about him and he's young enough (28 in Wladimirs case) then there's still a chance he can recover and turn his career around. It's happened countless times in the past. Lewis, for example got KO'ed a couple times and recovered.
In Wladimirs case, I don't know if he will recover or not. I don't know if he will ever live up to the expectations of some. But I do think he's accomplished enough and earned the right to discover his own destiny/fate. He's only 28. Some boxers start their pro career at 28. Even if he only becomes an OK fighter, boxing needs him.
Regarding your negative (hater's) comments, many fighters have recovered from a shaken confidence and KO losses and many have not. Why shouldn't Wladimir be given the chance to see if he can do the same. He deserves/earned that much.

I agree. If anyone thinks Wlad has problems being mentally preparred in the ring, you know it would be worse fighting his big brother who used to beat the **** out of him every day when they grew up.

Actually, I think what would really **** with his head is the fact that his brother has a title and he doesn't.
(Unless he magically got one and I wasn't aware of it)
I'm probably going to get all kinds of **** for this.
But I think Vitali is the better fighter.
Think of it.
The guys that Wlad lost to, Vitali beat.
Vitali is still around, Vitali still is champ, and Vitali isn't being questioned and told to retire like Wladimir is.

Honestly, I think Vitaliy would have lost to Sanders had not Wlad fought him first. They severely underestimated Sanders in the first fight. They made a huge mistake, the entire team did.
Wlad is a good guy and he always stated that Vitaliy is the best. Vitaliy always stated that about Wladimir too. I have a brother and I am always happy with his successes. I think my borther is better than me. Do you have a brother, Dr. Cynical?

I doubt it.
I think Vitali isn't afraid to get angry in a fight and be the aggressor.
Wladimir is just too timid and is getting ****ed by that and taking fights too easy and allowing his original style to be messed with.
I honestly think that Vitali could KO Wladimir.
