This fight happening will obscure the opinion of many boxing fans especially those who do not realize that DLH is not the fighter that he once was. Although DLH beat a overhyped one dimensional Ricardo Mayorga, he has performed poorly or has lost in 3 of his last 4 fights (lost to Mosely, did very poorly against Sturm, lost to Bhop). This being said, if and when PBF outpoints DLH, the boxing public will view him as if he was greater than DLH. When in all actuality, PBF will be fighting the 34 year old bone aching, back injured version of the once great DLH.

Don't be fooled by Mayweather beating DLH, a fight between them when they were both in their primes would be alot more competitive, and would probably end with DLH as the victor.

DLH is greater than PBF, not only because of his acomplishments, but because of his ENTERTAINMENT VALUE.
exactly right...........still its interesting to see what will happen.

Eh, he won a pretty close fight with one arm. See the rematch to see what would have happened in the first fight if Mayweather was fully functional

The more I think of this fight the more I lean towards Mayweather. This is not the Oscar of old, it's an old Oscar. I think of the Sweet Pea fight and how I thought Pernell won 114-112 or 8 rounds to 4 minus the 2 points. Floyd is faster than Pernell and Oscar's reflexes have slowed considerably since that fight.

I think PBF will concentrate on taking DLH's left hook away from him and frustrate him with pot shots all night long. DLH will win his share of rounds, but I still think PBF pulls out a 115-113 victory.

Excuses, excuses, Many people had JLC winning, and the only reason why it was not a victory for JLC is because the younger up and coming fighter was SUPPOSED to win.

You are biased, many of your posts manifests your biasedness towards PBF. The point is that he is a cherry picking, baby-cry who will get recnognition from the public after he beats a old, injured, and slow DLH.

lol, the fight is fort May 5th and you are already finding excuses to explain that De la Hoya is greater than Pbf, that's pathetic...

So, you're saying that even if Mayweather dominate De la Hoya, De la Hoya is better than him....

Answer my questions: WHAT HAVE TO DO PBF TO HAVE YOUR RESPECT!!??

so let me get this straight. Mayweather is picking his opponents, but Margarito isn't...?
