His conditioning is so good that he will be able to naturally grow into 154 pounds... Just like Hopkins did at light heavy.

oscar has faced good boxers(nard, ike) and some speedy ones(shane) and although pbf is the best p4p, oscar should be ready for him.... however, pbf hasnt faced anyone like oscar... and given pbf's weak opposition in the last 3 years, he's taking a big jump from the gatti's and baldy's to oscar... and he'll be making his debut at 154....

mayweather is human,he is hitable so u saying dlh won't get the shot in is non-sense.mayweather is hitable when cornered.most ppl that fight him just follow him around like a lost child.so u shouldn't say he's hittable cause that's what they said about tyson also

I am saying DLH will have to use a different strength to beat him, and not rely on his marquee punch, i didint say mayweather was unhittable by any means, im saying that this weapon wont be a huge factor unless its set-up properly.

Do you remember jermains jab in the hopkins fight? how about DLH's left in the hopkins fight? Or ANY of Chico Corralles strengths in his fight with floyd? thats my point, mayweahter is hittable and will get hit, but in my opinion mayweahter is a give and take fighter, hell give you a punch that your not as strong with to take away your best punch, you understand what im saying?

its not like DLH doesnt have anything else in his repertoir other than his vaunted left hook...

DLH's left hook is much slower than it used to be & he almost leaps with it now. Mayweather will most likely get hit with it but I'm willing to bet he doesn't take a CLEAN left hook. He'll either use his shoulder roll or he'll block it with his right hand so that he's only taking it partially. This fight is going to be a chess match for those that like the sweet science because you have to smart fighters.

i know that, and thats what were going to see, thats what makes the matchup so exciting because so many strengths were used to seeing from both fighters will be put into play, they will both need everything they have, experiance, skill, and heart to win. i never implied de la hoya is only worth his left.

                  Here's one thing though.

What if Floyd hurts his hand? He can't tink, and toy around like he did with Boldimir and still win the fight.

If he hurts his hand he will get outworked and DLH has no hand history that I can recall. (Only his torn rotator I think, but he will have had 1 year to let that heal)

Plus, DLH aint gonna get knocked out by Floyd pot-shots.

It's gonna be a good fight. DLH can beat him, I'm not saying who will win. But they are both beatable in the fight.

DLHs only real losses (IMO) came because Mosley was faster, and actually had the power to bust him a little (bloodied DLH nose). And getting hit by a much larger man in Hopkins, and DLH hand speed was not as great at 160.

So I think floyd obviously has the speed and better defense. But, DLH speed is pretty good too, and he has good defense as well. I think DLH has better fundamentals than Floyd does (cause Floyd always does whatever he wants and doesn't listen to his corner, (or his trainers IMO)) DLH always listens to his corner and his trainers. (Though that did cost him in the Trinidad fight). But it is good practice IMO. And power goes to DLH.

At 154, who knows. Maybe Floyd is only slightly faster than DLH. And at 154 his power might be less (I think at 147 it's all ready greatly diminished from when he was 140, 135).

                  Should be good.
