Lewis could handle an onslaught from a heavy handed quick puncher. Wlad hasn't shown that. For goodness sake, an overweight out of prime Lewis beat his stronger brother. How is the lesser brother supposed to beat a prime Lewis?

I say Wlad, but I really have no idea. I am sure though that this would have been a legendary fight, like Lewis -- V. Klitschko was.

Hell I finally decided to take a pick: Wlad by UD in a 115-113 hugfest. Sometimes a fight that just has to have a KO doesn't have one, because the very fact that a KO seems inevitable encourages caution on both sides.

Really I am picking this because I am annoyed by the results. My instinct would have chosen Lewis by KO, but that is by no means obvious and inevitable.

Lewis vs Wlad was going to happen...the fight between them fell through after Wladimir's loss to Corrie Sanders.

Lewis was in the worst, WORST shape of his career when the fight was stopped Vitali was ahead on 2 points, Would you want to continue if your face looked like this?



Also Lewis faced and took on punchers like Briggs, Vitali, Tua, Tyson, Bruno, Ruddock...yet people say his chin is not too good, he even avenged the losses by KO

This has been gone over many times already.

A below par Lewis still managed to cause multiple cuts over Klitschkos face. I think there was blood coming out of hs mouth too.
Lewis' power shots caused cuts and messed Klitschko up which led to the fight being stopped before Klitschko had no face left.

Lewis didn't look good, but the fact remains that he still managed to win despite not being at his best and having one foot in retirement.. There's no way in hell Wlad would have taken those punches.
