Who do you think is the second best Heavyweight Right Now?

Asian I know you and Shannon are cool and all, and I respect that as well as the fact that Briggs is an intelligent and witty guy who deserves some good things in his life, but he would get demolished by Wlad. It would be an easier fight than Maskaev or Valuev for him IMO.

Peter would eat Briggs alive, Toney would beat him into exhaustion. There are few guys Briggs should consider fighting right now if he wants to milk that title for all it's worth.

I think it is Samuel Peter, he is the best after Wlad, and he gave Wlad a tough fight I want to see a rematch. Peter can beat Maskaev, Valuev and Briggs. Knocking the best HW down 3 times right now and losing 114-111 is good enough to get a rematch, dont give me that "no legit knockdowns" bull**** because klitschko was clinching too.

Maskaev would give Wlad a tough fight, but Nicolay wouldn't at all. Nicolay doesn't have any second gear or alternate fight plan, it wouldn't make much sense. Briggs is more dynamic than any of the other titlists.

Peter would beat Briggs, I agree there. Toney on the other hand doesn't seem willing to get himself in the kind of shape he needs to have a working shot in there. I haven't been impressed with Toney as a heavyweight in his last 2 fights, I'm not going to invest too much in him for now.

Toney has durability and can fight when exhausted. Briggs showed us he can fight when tired as well though. I actually think it'd be a good fight while it lasted but eventually Toney's quickness and skill would dominate Briggs and he'd just wear him down with bodyshots. Late round stoppage or UD for Toney.

Has anyone here seen Lewis Vs Briggs ? I think Lewis hit a little harder and was a better boxer then Wlad and Briggs never gave up . I find it hard to see Wlad just running thru him like some have said .

We won't need to willingly lay down, Wlad would put him into that state anyway.

Briggs is just not a top heavyweight period. If he wins big against a fellow contender he will impress me but right now he's just riding a wave from a very fortunate win.

The best HW is James Toney, the fact is simple his the best defensive tactical fighter that can land and dodge a shot almost on cadence, his got the chin to stand in and punch with any current HW and would even give the blunt of them trouble in the way of a UD, he was stooped out of his last fight almost cowardelly and never gettin a real explantion on how or why he lost by 3(i think) rounds when you could have easily gave him toney the 1st 7 rds except like the 4th....... HAHA whateva think what you want but he can stand in there with Peter, and he can stand in there with Wlad peroid
