    You're forgetting that you got to give your body a rest before starting a new camp....

    so figure 4 month to heal (especially with the cut) + the 6-8 weeks camp, there you have it a minimum of 6 month

      or you could do like real fighters do (Mayweather and Hopkins) and make the gym your home. train every day of your life and fight as soon as you can. Mayweather was waiting to get Oscar in the ring and when it didn't materialize that set him back a few months. Floyd was ready to take Oscar in September.
