Floyd's fights at 147 are probably not going to be exciting, unless he fights fighters that are coming up from 140.

Roy Jones started to pot shot more often when he moved up to 175, but Roy had one thing that Floyd didn't have when he moved up, power.

This is boxing, not a KO show, if you people don't appreciate real skills then you should stop watching boxing for good!

Many people enjoy watching fighters with great skills, not 2 big man dry humpping eachother for 7 rounds.
              this is a joke right?

The point being, "boxing" is not what the majority of the people come to see...it might be fun to watch to the true boxing fan, but they are in the minority...the common fan is the one that brings in the money/popularity...they want to see aggressive fighting, toe to toe, brawling, etc.

Maybe if Floyd fixed his attitude, he would have more fans.

That said, it is a bit unfair to judge Floyd now because he is fighting bigger guys at 147, and can't fight the same fight he fought with guys at the lower weights. People talked **** about Chris Byrd as well, but really, what is the guys upposed to do, stand there and trade with bigger, more powerful guys?

You can have skills and still be thrilling. See Willie Pep and Sugar Ray Robinson. I loved watching them but couldn't care less about Mayweather, with the exception of the Corrales fight.

It's a dumb and cheap argument to say that people who don't like Mayweather aren't boxing fans. You couldn't be more wrong. Mayweather is just one approach or style to boxing, he personally does not define what boxing is about at all.

If you are only looking for a KO you are not a fan of 'boxing' you are a fan of KOs. If you can't watch a boxing genius like PBF,ROY,JT and enjoy it then you are not a boxing fan
