Look how excited he was for Wlad winning and he was extremley nice to Wlad after the fight. Just check his interview last week with Mayweather, Larry always being a ***** against black great fighters he did it to all the great black fighters, but he always a different person when he interviews an white fighter after an win.

I couldn't disagree with you more if I were Larry, himself.

Floyd shows no respect and is a ****y, arrogant guy.....Wladimir is courtouis and classy when speaking of the sport and his place in it.

Get over it, if I am not mistaken Larry was complementing PBF's boxing ability up until the final rounds. He actually stated that NOONE can out box floyd(compliment). The best post I've read on here by far. Same with most interviewers, whether they are interviewing politicians, self important actors, musicians, or anyone else. Act with courtesy and you will get it, act like a ****, you can have that too. What makes fighters so special? Manners cost nothing, Mayweather should get some, same with Hopkins, and i dont give a **** if they are sky blue pink. They are both ignorant.

Merchant's ideal fighter is the same as mine I think. Guys who are gentlemen outside the ring but aggressive and brutal inside of it. Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, the public image of Mike Tyson before his behavior became well known. Skin pigment does not enter the equation.

lol yeah they play nice nice when the guy is in front of them and making them money but as soon as he falls off or is no longer an HBO fighter they talk them down. Look how they are with Roy when he is with them they act like they are in love with him but when he's in the ring or not the top dog all they do is cry about how and who he should fight .

Larry doesn't like when fighters don't "FIGHT"...this is why he loved Gatti so much...it wasn't that Gatti was a "Great" boxer, because he wasn't, but because he stood toe to toe.

Merchant always spoke well of Whitaker even on boring nights but when Sweet Pea was P4P he was fighting JC Chavez, McGirt, JC Vazquez ( at 154 a big strong champion) and de la hoya 10 years ago in his prime.
