Why aren't you anti-hatton? Why aren't you outraged at him for not making a fight with Floyd? Every post I see from you is anti-floyd and you criticize him for who he hasn't or has fought in the last few years, but no such criticism for hatton or Cotto.

It's good to see the Hatton team is still using Mayweather's name to promote his (Ricky's) up coming fight with Urango. This is what the Hatton team does: they use Mayweather's name to make you think he is serious about fighting him next, in hope you watch this fight to build up to a possible Mayweather clash.

The bottom line is this: Mayweather is not 35, coming off two serious injuires, causing long inactivity, thus making it difficult for his body to make the weight. No, Floyd is is only 29, so the timing is bad for Ricky.

LOL...just like to get the Hatton people started.

Seriously, this fight needs to happen now because it isn't about hyping a possible fight anymore, it is about bull****ting the public.

I really liked Hatton before, but over the last couple of years, his stock has gone down in my eyes. I am not so sure I blame him or his team, but then again, Hatton is the one in control so I will have to blame him.

I really thought Hatton was going to be a Gatti and was willing to fight everybody, but I guess Italian/Canadian balls do grow bigger and hang lower than English balls.

People talk about Mayweather is afraid to lose, but it seem Hatton is more afraid to lose.

I am not sure if Gatti ever looked at his record.

if hatton is movin back down how is he gonna face PBF, he said himself he needs 2-3 fights to grow in the division, he needs to stay at 147lbs so his body will be adjusted to that weight and then in about 2-3 more fights fight PBF at 147lbs. and im sure PBF can even make 140lbs still.
They don't think Mayweather is the biggest of welterweights.

Kerry Kayes had just six weeks to put 7lbs of muscle onto Ricky's frame (he was preparing to fight Juan Lezcano at light-welterweight, until HBO changed their minds and forced him to move up), he needed to bulk up or he wouldn't of been able to stand up to a natural welterweights punches - but what it did was slow him down considerably, he could barely move!

It would have been smarter for Hatton to take an easier fight to start at welter and let his body grow into the division. I still think he is way overrated and would pick any top 10 welterweight to beat him, even Clottey...

cotto actually needs more time in order to be ready. i do criticise hatton but not as much since he actually shows some class and his fights dont make me wish i was watching a documentary on fast drying paint.

I am not criticizing you for that point of view...just pointing out that some people (clearly a minority but not nobody) thought this would be a difficult fight. Nonetheless I would much rather see a competitive bout. Simply put I don't think you can blame Mayweather for fighting the recognized champ at 147 (that doesn't give him a pass for the 3 previous fights but this fight alone I have no problem with).
it is almost an obligation for me to pick floyds opponent no matter who it is. i definately hoped that baldy would win because an upset would have actually been exiting. while another boring pot shot pitter patter floyd win would be a snoozefest. as long as floyd is winning fights they are going to be boring because he wont fight dlh, mosley, margarito, hatton, or even collazo for that matter. all of whom would actually force an exiting fight with the most boring fighter outside of the heavyweight division, none other than floyd mayweather junior.

Why would Hatton, need to use the name of a woman beating cowardly bigmouthed **** to promote his fights? Mayweather is a gutless worm who would rather eat his own leg than get in a ring with Margarito. Other than nutsuckers that think women beating is acceptable behavior, no one is interested in a lump of **** that is supposed to be the greatest fighter in the world that cant draw flies in his own backyard.
325k PPV's dont make me ****in laugh, Oscar would get double that for a sparring session. I hope Oscar treats the scum prick with the contempt he deserves, and offers him 5 dollars and a biscuit.

I felt hatton deservedly won the Collazo fight, but hes not exactly making me a fan with all these excuses.
