well manfredo's done more for the sport in his past few fights than calzone has done his whole career. so yeah, his name should be bigger.

Where is your source for the viewing figures? Contender is shown on ITV4. its not on itv1.

Series 1 was shown on ITV1, don't you remember? You could watch the fight on ITV1 a couple of days after it was shown on ITV2, ITV4 didn't even exist then I don't think.

Yes, he's known by practically every boxing fan over here, and many of the Contender fans were reality TV fans, not boxing fans.

If you held a banner in the middle of London saying 'Who's Joe Calzaghe' you'd get people saying 'Isn't he the one who beat that uhm, muscly black fella?', and I'm not even kidding.
