I still think the fight was bull**** and that the ref should not have called it off. There was no time left on the clock whatsoever. He should have been given his 20 seconds to get back into the ring. It's not like Briggs would have been able to hit him again, the fight was over. Saying "Sergei was in no condition to take more punishment" is irrevelent since he wouldn't be taking any. All he had to do was stand up and he was not allowed the opportunity to do so.

What happens next? He rematches Briggs and KO's him in the 6th or 7th like he would have done if he was there to actually fight.

I never said that. I still maintain that Sergei is a top five fighter in this division. The version that showed up for that fight was AWFUL though.

man the guy was scared. you'd be scared too... having a war with who is supposed to be one of the hardest hitting guys in the division, brewster... only to get hit by briggs to find out he hits a lot harder than brewster. That would scare me too

That is still true, he is one of the best heavyweights. Even if they rematch and Briggs knocks him out again, Sergei would beat more heavyweights out there than Briggs could.
