Boxing Video - Mayweather Sr: "My Son Floyd and Oscar De La Hoya Should Never Fight!"

I really don't think Floyd Sr. wants the fight to happen either. In his early answers you could see his eyes shifting all over the place because it seemed he was trying to choose his words carefully. When asked about his son & a DLH matchup his mannerisms changed & he seemed more steady & looked as if he didn't have to choose his words to answer the question.

Yeah, it looked like Floyd Sr. doesn't want the fight to happen (Afraid of his son embarrising him by beating Oscar? Afraid of ruining his own son's legacy be training a fighter to beat him?) But he knows that if both fighters agree to make it happen he has no choice but to train Oscar.

That said, Mayweather Sr. is a damn good trainer. I just have my doubts that Oscar and Jr. are what they are today, strictly because of Sr.

I agree Whitaker gave DLH massive problems and made him look bad in a fight DLH won, Whitaker would have won had he been an active puncher in that fight. Floyd will dominate the fight, I just can't see it going down any other way...Floyd is to good right now, he doesn't appear to make careless mistakes that could cost him even a round yet.

There's no ****ing comparison, Floyd's just been blessed with raw talent and intense work ethic. Mayweather Sr. is just trying to take credit for it, he reminds me of a ****ing soccer mom on the sidelines screaming "that's my son!".
