Austin is underrated. He fought a smart fight and adjusted to Sultan's style enough to win the later rounds and deserve the draw. Did anyone else even see that fight? Austin is not very quick or fun to watch but he was effective. Better boxer than Briggs anyway. I don't think Briggs has the confidence in himself or ring intelligence to adjust to Ibragimov's style as Austin did. Also I don't think he has Austin's chin or stamna.

Sultan wins by stoppage or KO.

briggs is much easier to hit than austin. that wont be the problem,,,the problem will be what happens if and when briggs connects? this fight could go either way in my opinion and would likely end in a ko. I'd slightly lean toward ibrag because his stamina is better and I dont think he'd let briggs huff and puff with his hands down without going after him like serge

No, not that they are better than Sultan... it's just that Briggs, who will be fighting Sultan, will be much better than Briggs who fought Wilson, Botha, and McCline...

Ibragimov may very well beat Briggs, he's a very talented fighter who has the kind of hand speed, youth, punching power, and combinations that can give Briggs all kinds of trouble. It's an interesting fight, Ibragimov is no joke.

Well see, that's the problem here. Austin DID adjust to Ibragimov's style but Ibragimov could not. He was very frustrated and could not do a thing. Briggs will counter him all night long because he will not engage himself but I think that Briggs is a much more powerful puncher than Austin.

they both got dropped, sultan went down from a ***** shot though, the shot austin went down from simply caught him off balance moving backwards.
