Just so you know Margarito would KO, Hatton. All Hatton has done at welterweight was beat, barly beat Collazo. For some reason he didnt' want to stay at welterweight.

It is very possible, I still think mayw. vs hatton would be a more entertaining fight than mayw. vs margarito. Styles make fights (Ali-Frazier-Foreman...)

I have no problem Margarito fighting Williams, thats a fight he'll have to take. But this doesn't remove the fact that Margarito is taking a step back in fighting Williams. Margarito has already fought the prospects. Williams hasn't beaten a battle tested fighter yet, he couldn't even ko, packu even after landing a hundred punchs. Beating Williams wont get Margarito closer to Mayweather but it will get him close to dominating the welterweight division. One, by one, Margarito it taking them all down.

No one is taking from margarito his accomplishments, but he is competing for fights with people who have quite impressive resumes:

De La Hoya belts in 6 divisions (4 times lineal champion in 3 divisions)
Mosley belts in 3 divisions (2 times lineal)
Spinks belts in 2 divisions (1 time lineal)
Hatton belts in 2 divisions (1)
Cotto belt in 1 division, so far but the quintana fight is closeby

2 of them are past their primes but they had lots of belts. In terms of money Margarito beats only Spinks and i dont know how mosley is doing as of now so maybe mosley too.

Mayw. does not have much marketing power but can move across divisions to secure the most lucrative fights, if he was forced to stay at 147 cotto and margarito would be the only possibilities, but he can go to 154 at 140.

Exactly he does get on the internet. He said so at the post fight press conferance. He's also said lots of times that he pretty much spends all his time at home. You don't think goes on the web to check out boxing sites? You don't think he cares about what is said about him? Why was he crying about it then? I did'nt say he surfed web sites all day but I'm sure he checks them out. Or maybe he has his people surf the sites. Just go to these sites and look how these people defend him like they personally know the guy. Then these guys always go out of there way to bash Margarito. It does'nt even matter if the topic is about margarito they just bash anyway. Alot of people don't realize that Antonio used to bust up Oscar years ago in sparring. He lost his job as a sparring partner because of it. So if he sucks so much then why did this happen? Why does he have 7 title defences? Floyd has no defences at welter so that right there makes Margarito worthy. Floyd is starting to make himself look like a pure clown and he did it without losing. I don't deny his skills and I don't think anyone does. But skills don't make you tough, skills don't give you heart. Why did Floyd come to the ring in a gladiator suit. He's so far from a gladiator. He should've came out in a squirrel or bunny suit. I think that would suit his style better.
