Kessler's a good robot, but he's yet to fight anybody. Manny Siaca and Markus Beyer were the weakest title holders in boxing, and Carl Froch beat Porras more convincingly even with two fractured hands.
Calzaghe has fought far better opposition in Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Brewer and Mitchell. Veit was supposed to be the 'next big thing' in Germany and Lacy was supposed to be the 'next big thing' in America, I don't buy that **** anymore. If Joe shut Kessler out, Kessler was just a 'Euro bum' anyway - not worth it.
this is the wrong place to ask a question like this, this place is for true fans of the sport, so of course were intrested...but the american public, this fight wouldnt sellout anywhere here, at all.

American's don't give a **** about Kessler, forget him.
They all remember Joe from his great fights on Showtime, stealing the show on the Tyson card in Denmark, the awesome war with Brewer and spectacular fight with Mitchell, etc.
Are you serious??
As a boxing fan, watching two undefeated fighters at the top of their division is something that only comes along once and a while, and I would LOVE to see this fight, even if im not particularly a "fan" of either fighter.
Americans will only vote yes bcoz they want to see joe lose. and they know its a major risk.
they still cant take what joe did to there lacy.
I actully want to see it becuase it would be a good fight, and is a better option than most fights on the table for joe.
And its not like Lacy was an American icon or anything, he was alot of hype and a good fighter who got beat down by a better one.
Its really not a big deal.
