Floyd never backed out of a fight with Margarito. Margarito was never even a mandatory for Floyd I don't believe. If you're going to argue, don't lie, lmfao!Comment

Floyd would have dominated Marg with or w/o plaster. Look at what Shane did. No Floyd doesn't have his power, but Shane tied up Marg to disrupt his rhythm and Floyd is a lot stronger than shane. With Floyd's footwork and inside game......Marg probably wouldn't have won a round.Comment

Here is the proof sniff sniff as to why Floyd would've beat Margarito's ass, lmao: http://*************/watch?v=R38me5203X8Comment

I'm not in denial about anything. When did Floyd admit to ducking anyone? Unless you can provide evidence to support this claim then you're a liar.
I'm quite sure that you aren't a fan of Margarito, which makes the fact that you're propping him up just to try and discredit Mayweather even more pathetic. Mayweather leaving Top Rank was about more than choosing to fight Baldomir over Margarito. He left Top Rank so that he could free himself up for the DLH fight. The same fight that Arum refused to try and make for Floyd. Only an idiot couldn't see the financial benefit.
Or Floyd could have left Arum/Top Rank, fought Baldomir then fought DLH turning himself into a superstar and the biggest draw in boxing. Which is exactly what he did. You sound like an idiot. You're basically criticizing Mayweather for not hustling backwards.
Everybody that Floyd has stepped in the ring with has been a threat. Margarito was no more of a threat than Baldomir. He wasn't near the threat that DLH was at 54. Plus as it turns out, he was a cheater who didn't look like anything after he was caught cheating. Margarito was a B level fighter at his best, but there's really no telling how good he actually was because of the loaded wraps fiasco. It's no shame that he never got the Floyd fight, it's actually a blessing.
Again, provide evidence of Floyd saying that he ducked Margarito. The fact is that Arum himself has gone on record saying that Floyd accepted the Margarito and Cotto fights on the condition that Arum would make the DLH fight. Arum declined Floyd's stipulation so Floyd bought himself out of Top Rank's contract and made the fight without Arum. Arum has also played a major role in the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight not being made yet you only blame Mayweather. You're sad man, let the hate go.
The only people in denial are you miserable Floyd haters who been whining and crying about Floyd for almost 10 years. It hurts you people's sould that Floyd is considered the best that you sit around hating, nitpicking at him in an effort to discredit his greatness. It really is pathetic watching you go on and on like some bitter scorned female. Boxing is a business, not a tough man competition. Politics play a role in every fight that gets made and doesn't get made. Either you're too ****** to understand this or you purposely ignore it in order to spew your irrational hate. Either way you look bad.
Floyd has said he has earned the right to carefully select who he wants to fight. Even when Guerrero criticized Floyd for "careful selection" Floyd said "I earned that right". If you still want proof, I can provide that.
Floyd didn't have to leave Arum to get fights. The problem is that Floyd wanted too much money and Arum said that amount of money can't be made at this point in time. So its a myth that Arum said no to a fight with Oscar. Floyd could have fought Oscar, Margarito, Cotto, later on Manny .... while with Arum.
Floyd fought Baldomir in 2006 not Oscar. Floyd could have fought Margarito in August and Baldomir later that year or fought Margarito instead of Baldomir then Oscar in 2007. You are calling me names but think for once will you. Did FLoyd sign a contract to fight Oscar after Judah? NO!!! In boxing, unless you sign a contract anything can happen. Again, you are calling me names but the question in 2006 was to fight Baldomir/Margarito or Mosley with an extra month or two delay in the fight. Floyd took Baldomir.
Sorry, you can't get out of this by saying "it's OK since Margarito was a cheat". Well, so was Mosley but he got the fight when he was much older. Floyd didn't care ..... Still, the point is that Floyd didn't know back then.
Margarito/Cotto/Oscar: Again, Floyd overpriced himself according to what Arum saw was reasonable ... it was not about not wanting to give him Oscar. Secondly, Floyd should have just fought Margarito & Cotto and then when he won, ask Arum for the best deal possible NOT the other way around since Floyd could have lost, for one. EXAMPLE: Floyd made fun of when Canelo said he would only fight in his under-card if Floyd would promise him a fight after that. Most of us agreed with Floyd when he said "Fight Trout and beat him first then we will see" .... but then Floyd does it, it's OK and it's Arum's fault????
Yes Floyd said that there was something fishy about Margarito back then when asked why he was ducking him. Yes, I can supply proof of that too.
By the way, we are BOTH in these threads. I see it one way and you see it another. No problem there but you are in denial. You guys blame Arum and everyone else but there are other fighters that called him out that had nothing to do with Arum BUT Floyd never fought them either or fought them too late! The common denominator in all this is FLOYD!!!
Look Floyd can do whatever he wants. It's his life BUT we come here to discuss Floyd and others. You can say what you say but the thing is when Floyd says he is allowed to take "easier fights" BUT his fans then come here to say that is not true THEN we need to call you out for it. Again and again, Floyd can do whatever he wants BUT don't come here and say the opposite just because you are in denial!!!Comment

Thank you for your triangle theories:Here is the proof sniff sniff as to why Floyd would've beat Margarito's ass, lmao: http://*************/watch?v=R38me5203X8
Ali loses to Frazier and Norton
Foreman brutally destroys Frazier and Norton
Imagine if Ali never fought Foreman and a Foreman fan shows us tapes of Foreman vs Frazier and Norton?
Secondly, wars are fought not theorized unless two fighters are from different eras and even then, it is just a fantasy fight.
Mosley KOed Margarito. Floyd would not have done that. Go ask everyone else who fought Margarito if he can be easily KOed.
Now add the fact that Mosley faced a Margarito that literally minutes before got caught red-handed! Margarito was not all there that night BUT I will still give credit to Mosley, who I was rooting for anyhow.
Finally, leave them excuses at the front door before coming to BS .... here Floyd actually needs to fight the opponent ... JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!Last edited by ADP02; 05-27-2013, 06:16 PM.Comment
