Larry Merchant was a great commentator but lately he keeps critisizing fighters everyday... he never gives them the respect they deserve... he always pissed Hopkins off back in the day this man doesn't give any credits anymore.

Wow mayweather didn't entertain you.. but he won.. right... he dominated show the guy respect stop putting fighters down.

My dad watched the fight also and he hates mayweather but he was glad mayweather gave Larry ****.

no, mayweather is an ******* and was completely arrogant, and i cant believe he said that kind of ****. i give larry props because hes straight forward and told mayweather to his face that... YOUR A BORING ASS FIGHTER, that ppv wasnt even moneys worth, he was throwing like 35 punches a round and running the whole time, so larry told him straight up.floyd should shut his trap. i didnt even know i could lose any more respect for the guy, but i did.

It doesn't take a man to have a fighters history in order to tell Floyd the fight ******.

why can't he say anything good about a fighter

All larry wants is fights like you see in the movies rocky
every time he watches a boxing clinic he has to disrespect the fighter

Merchant does say good things about some fighters. Watch any of the three Gatti/Ward fights. If Floyd hadn't made a big spectacle of his entrance, talked about his greatness before the fight, said it was all about the fans, etc. then it would be one thing for Merchant to put him on the spot for being boring. But he hyped it and promised a show and he didn't deliver. It takes two, yes, but only one (PBF) did the talking pre-fight, so Merchant was right about asking him if it was a good show. Granted, could have been a little more polite about it.
