Journalists have stated su****ions of steroid use since they became popular. Thomas Boswell of the Washington Post was the first journalist I remember doing it- to Canseco, questioning his gaining 20 pounds of muscle in the off season before 1987- and he was 100% right, even though he was ridiculed about it at the time. So there's some legal and journalistic background for you.
