Baldomir is a good fighter. But lets be honest, Mayweather is a couple levels up from Gatti and Judah. I'd say Floyd by a wide decision to possible late stoppage.

I agree on baldo skills. (but I think mayweather is in a skills compartment which is separated from pretty much all active fighters, with the exception of Toney and Wright, but Mayweather adds extra versatility to the two champions above.)

In general we see a lot of dissing on "foreign" fighting styles.

      take the "central-euro-style".
is it ugly? yes, as f-+k.
is it effective? seems like it is (the hws, germans, kessler

Its nice to see that Baldomir will be able to live comfertably when he retires though. He still might be able to get another good pay day after this fight too.

Baldomir will do a lot better than people realize. No one is factoring in the strength difference, there are just comparing the two P4P. I am sick and tired about hearing about Mayweather's skills. He has damn good skills but what makes him the best p4p boxer out there is his quickness and reflexes. Quickness is not a skill, it's a talent.

ok has anyone seen the judah baldomir fight????
              it was that CLOSE....
judah was out speeding baldomir until he gassed out (as usual)
mayweather is light years ahead of judah in every aspect of boxing (except for natural speed)
with that being said.....lets break it down to simple elementary school logic
              Baldomir >> Judah (barely)
Mayweather >> Judah (wide margin) therefore...
              Mayweather>>> Baldomir
              I have Mayweather UD12

Baldy is 19-0-2 since that loss in 1999 with 7 KO..

You never know son.. It's a fight! Anything could happen! I will be going for Baldimor.. I wish him the best of luck. I think he can do it. Everyone looks at Baldimor like a slow giant. He will shut ya up once again.

I don't think Baldomir can hurt or even make Floyd retreat unless Floyd stands right in front of him or tries to take his punches like Gatti did. We all know Baldomir is very strong but if he can't catch Floyd it won't matter.

That's exactly what i mean.. Floyd at some point will get ****y and try to trade and get tagged eventually...

Ok then we'll see if he gets "caught". If Floyd gets ****y I doubt he will let Baldomir catch him cleanly, and one punch ain't gonna do it.

                      We'll see this Saturday.
