Why many people here hates Margarito?

I can't speak for other people but I think a lot of people detest how "he has foughten nobodies" and then challenges Floyd Mayweather and how he started getting a lot of hype after he didn't get a fight with Floyd.

EDIT= They don't hate they dislike him.

I think most of it isnt hate for him but hate for the peple around him and the media boosting him up. They feel like he's being hyped way too much for not having accomplishig much to anything and there sick of hearing him calling out Floyd but fighting nobodies and turning down fights with other big name guys. Then they hate him & Arum self proclaiming him the most feared man in boxing and the most avoided man in boxing but yet there are a ton of top fighters who wanted to fight him and he turned it down. They hate that Williams was his mandatory but he fought Clottey instead and so on.

The Clottey fight to me isnt great but its still solid and I want to see it. He should fight a big name in his next fight. Williams at the least

I dont hate Margirito at all, but his delusional fans and Bob Arum surround him with so much negativity.

Everybody hates Margarito cause he has a chance of defeating Floyd -their hero.

Williams who hasn't fought anybody gets more respect then Margarito, just goes to show you that the people who hate Margarito and accuse him of fighting nobodies, don't know anything about boxing. All they know is a name fighter, if they don't know the fighter, then to them, obviously that fighter must suck. They're all kids, who hate Margarito for there fear may come true when Margarito ko's Floyd.

Either that or because he's Mexican, cause most of the time i hear Mexican this, Mexican that -they got issues.

All I got to say is that I hope Antonio Margarito wins his fight with Joshua Clottey. Then I can only wish that god grants me this miracle and allows a Mayweather/Margarito bout to come together in the future to settle this issue once and for all. I think race isn't the issue here regarding why people dislike margarito's hype...pero si entiendo lo que dices Ferocity. I do believe Margarito deserves more respect but more than anything, he deserves a chance.

I don't like Margarito or his fans. Margarito is just as much in the wrong as they are for calling himself the most feared man in boxing. What a bunch of bull****. 12 name fighters called him out after Mayweather turned him down. 12. And he fought none of them.

I agree with Diego... Margarito does nothing but talk about Mayweather when there are many other fighters out there in the welterweight division. I don't blame him for using Mayweather's name to establish publicity but I disagree with Margarito not trying to seek others by now. Plus I'm not really fond of his non-technical boxing and wide looping punches.
