Ben Graham...not sure how good he was, but he is a very good punter and is a willing nut who wants to add to the punter position by running fakes...http://www.newyorkjets.com/players/b...active_players

That guy wasn't a Rugby player, he played Aussie rules. Aussie rules is a totally different game.

To be honest I don't know much about Aussie rules. aussie rules places more emphasis on kicking , they have to punch the ball in order to pass, etc. Its a very strange game. Absolutely totally different to Rugby Union though.

****, now I am all confused and curious to find out

So tactics are probably different and possibly more complex in non-Aussie Rugby, but both are still tough, NO?

One more thing since we are talking about these sports, what sport is the one that looks like Women's Field Hockey, but they beat the **** out of eachother?

Beowulf, honestly mate there is no point in trying to show something like this to a bunch of Americans.

Stereotypes about them are generally true and it is seen on this site. Not prepared to accept that something else is superior, ignorant, self centered, in many ways inferior without knowing it, backwards logic, uneducated. All of this is seen in these discussions and it has been proven over and over.

Seriously, trying to tell them that Rugby is better than Football is having 0 effect. They just continue with more of the above. Illogical, ignorant, backwards, inferior thought processes that just cause a collosal waste of time resulting in absolutely nothing.

So yeah, my advice; dont discuss this stuff with them. They just dont get it. However you should have seen that when the comment about "our sport stops every 5 seconds which makes it extremely tactical" was made.

P.s respect to the Americans on this site who do not do this. There are many.

Aussie rules isn't rugby. There are also two types of Rugby: Rugby League and Rugby Union.

From what I've seen Aussie rules is tactically very different to Rugby (either code), Aussie rules isn't anywhere near as physical, and relies on kicking and short, punched passes. There is still some tackling but nowhere near as brutal as Rugby Union.

Rugby League has some more similarities to Gridiron, but is still a flowing game.

It seems to be a fairly reasonable discussion at the moment.

                    WTF are you talking about?

Ok, maybe there is an attitude/ego that a lot of Americans have, but I am asking questions to be more informed, so please step aside.

Since when have I ever said "America is the best, we are cake and you are ****, blah blah blah ?

I am all about positive ego, but only when you can back it up and we "Americans" are falling behind if not fell behind in a lot of things so I know that already...

I actually think it is "Un-American" to brag and say "We are #1" and have a bratty attitude with it, when obviously we are in a decline...

I can go a long time about the disappointment I am at the moment with these United States, but it is probably already known by others and I hate the other **** that gets started, I am not in the mood.

whoa whoa whoa, ROFL i only said moss-side coz of the ricky hatton fan base there, i aint comparing ******s. But **** me i wouldn't wanna live in nottingham, brixton, brounston, toxteth etc if you wanna compare. How can you compare our football to urs, there two different sports. Real football however pwns for passion, excitement in most games.

American Football i have never got excited, ok maybe when dante hall ****ed up the broncos. Far to many stoppages no flow or grace in the game for me personally.
