floyd is fools gold.. he a great fighter but his longevity will only fome from his conditioning.. hes not a born fighter , he is a taught fighter whos been taught since birth, he not so to speak a natural ...he worked extra hard to be the best.. and he is very beatable hatton or margarito delahoya or mosley if they put pressure on him they can beat him maybe even paul williams.. i think many of you are looking what he did against gatti and corrales to value his speed but everybody looks fast against those guys... he might be a stand up left handed textbook boxer but since he was trained since he was born we will never kno ,it maybe a mistake his father made.. and until he fights some strong young pressure fighter like toney did peter hes really very overrated

a natural a stand up text book born fighter...if you look very very closely you can see all of the greats fought somewhat the same... ray robinson ,holmes, toney, duran , hearns, archie moore..the all were stand up boxers who fought of the back foot and were in the correct alighment so that there bones would be lined up perceftectly thats why they didnt break there hands all the time and last a very long time ...

Okay, we got off on the wrong foot here, shall we make peace? I just get sick of seeing the same **** posted over and over (not necessarily by you), you know what I mean?

It'd be nice to read a few different opinions for a change. And I'm no Hatton fan - he's a fouling Paler.

I am still not sure what you mean...Please inform me more...James Toney? that is "textbook" if you compare it to SRR and Duran?

It's about winning...different styles for differet fighters...it also helps that if you fight differently that it is more confusing to the opponent.

For the hand problems, many fighters in the past have had trouble with their hands, including Ray Leonard, Oscar Delahoya, Gatti, Ali (so I've heard), etc.

You don't have to fight according to how everybody else fought, just look at the Wars in the past...throughout history, their have been many armies that have won simply because they didn't fight the "Right" way.

james toney from what i know is the best fighter that ever lived and has never been in shape even when he was at 160 he would blow up inbetween fights suffered from depression and we all know how important that is for a fighter and he still beats everybody he shouldnt even be a heavyweight larry holmes fought a lot like toney he might of been the best heavy weight ever ali was alot like the both of them but i think they took it to the next level... leanord ali and delahoya are born fighters delahoya since he was converted had a hard time develpoing his right hand but its the speed of the reflexes by putting your body at the correct alignment wich gives you the speed power and longevity to keep both... it think floyd might be a born fighter but hes fighting backwards
