here in th U.S. all boxing promoters media and fighters themselves as well as all the forums on the net wanted this fight... baldomir is even less known and has more losses .. if floyd wasnt scared this fight would be a foolish move, if he was scared it would be a smart move but the smart people could see right thru it.

Snakes on a plane was a messageboard phenom, as an artist, im apart of several internet boards and it stormed all the ones i was on. However, the movie itself was a failure in terms of what they expected in revenue. Internet hype DOESNT WORK, especially with boxing where most fans like the flip through the tube and see whos on etc. Mayweather is constantly on TV, Magazines, articles here and there, i saw him in ebony magazine when i visited my mother last week, same with de la hoya, mosley etc.

The casual fan doesnt know who margarito is, the casual fan doesnt care who margarito is and until he gets a sensational fight on national TV (or 2) then it will continue. The showtime fight with Cotto is good, but what i find funny is that if hes so big and bad, why is he playing second fiddle to cotto and this is cotto's first fight at WW? That should illustrate what his name means
