I watched that fight (SRL vs Sr.) and as I remember senior was competetive. It wasn't a KO...it was more of a stoppage (somewhatpremature IMO). But then again im not sure...it was the 70's.....LOL
Also his dad had got shot in the club before that fight and his legs were never the same so my dad and em say anyway.
He (Floyd) wants to be great and I dont see anything wrong with that.
You become great by beating great fighters. The evidence tells me that Floyd doesn't want it that badly. The clock is running out for him, but he's still got some prime years left to raise his game.
His resume next to Ray Leonards? Inferior. He's about where Hector Camacho was.
