You're right. That would probably be the biggest stumbling block. But if it were to happen, I hope Joe takes a pay cut to entice Taylor in any negotiations. It would be worth it.

Yes, worth it to the fans, but what about Joe?
Sure, it could boost his legacy, increase of his popularity, thus creating future income after he retires, but that isn't a guarantee...Joe needs to look for big fights with big money because he is near the end...If a fight with Taylor did come off, I doubt anybody would need to take a paycut, it would be a big fight.
