And mosley did counter WINKY's right jab with a left hook a few times. and it worked everytime.
No reason quartey shouldnt try it

But its a bit hard because the distance is greater. there is the distance of the left leg of the orthdox fighter and then the distance between them, the distance of the right leg of the southpaw. a left hook could only be used by countering a jab, fininshing the left/right straight punchs or close range. If you seen Lacy-Calzaghe fight you would notice that Lacy is trying to force a left hook nearly all the rounds and never really tryed to set it up.

Winky need to develop his uppercut better it will make him more complete fighter IMO.

for Ike to win he need to learn to throw fast combo as well as having stamina to do it for more than 12 rounds

yea i said that too. i think ikes stamina will play a big role in the fight. Hes gotta work hard to win and if he cant do it every minute of every round, hes gonna lose

Nobody as been able to just walk through Quartey & I expect the same here. If a young Vargas couldn't just walk over him, Wright not's going to do it. To this day DLH said that Quartey is the strongest fighter he's ever fought. He said that nobody has ever hit him harder & this was post Hopkins. With that said this fight will be tough for Quartey but I see a close competitive battle with alot of infighting & punches thrown by both. Neither like to back up but I just don't see Winky having the power to KO Quartey. I would like for Quartey to win but my brain is telling me Wright but close but UD.

Its not impossible that Quartey is so exhasted toward the end of the fight, that wright could just open up on quartey and get the fight stopped.

Its not wrights style but if the moment strikes ud have to think wright would jump on the oppurtunity.

But Wright is usually so confident that he can win rounds, that he rarely goes for the knockout...

IF not entertaining, this will at least be a very interesting matchup and im looking very forward to it

Still no one has been able to just man-handle Quartey. To me Quartey has a better jab. It's fast, accurate, & marks you up. It's possible that Quartey could get frustrated but I just don't see that happening. I've never seen him frustrated in any of his fights. He's a seek & destroy type fighter that puts pressure on his opponents.
