From what I've seen and heard about thompson is that he's boring to watch and has done nothing since his win against Dom Guinn last summer. If you want to make a name for yourself in the heavyweight division you gotta keep the fans interested by fighting frequently and being exciting at the same time.

too be honest i dont think you have seen him and whatever you heard must not be credible....

he has done nothing since his win over dom guinn because people are AVOIDING him, thats what happens when youre a heavyweight and you beat a guy pillar to post landing 45 percent of your punches for the entire fight....

thompson is exciting, he throw punches in combination, he can fight inside or out, he doesent have a lot of power but he doesent need it with his style.

thompson was matched with luan krasniqi to fight for the right to become the mandatory #1 challenger for the WBO belt.... krasniqi backed out of the fight and didnt give a reason...... how come you didnt know about this?

calvin brock is clearly the less exciting fighter of the two

if youre rooting for brock cause he is american i would suggest you jump off his bandwagon and onto tony thompson's

thompson is the best american heavyweight right now and nobody even bothers to mention his name....

i would take him to beat brock, and unlike calvin, tony has the physical size to matchup with klit, plus thompson is southpaw with a solid straight left to boot which is something that wlad has shown to be prone to.

ill be there live, rootin on brock. but i dont think he has a chance honestly.

I think the rounds that it DOES last will be much more exciting then people think, as brock will need to stay close to have a chance at a decision.

But it has to be effective pressure, not clinching. but we will see

I think some of us are really under estimating Brock here. I myself am leaning towards Klitschko due to the size and experience advantage, but I wont be suprised if Brocks wins this.

well no one's really going to be surprised when Wladimir goes down because it's happened so many times before. it's just that Brock doesn't really bring a lot to the table. he's as normal as it gets actually. I don't know how Brock winded up in this position anyway.
