I wonder if he lost his "ganas". Happens to a lot of prospects. Hawaiian culture is way too laid back for boxers, IMO. I know he's in Los Angeles now....but he still lives in Hawaii. Perhaps a change of scenery might do his some good?

um yeah, dropping Freddie Roach after your first loss isn't exactly the direction i'd take... also it might just be temporary Roach has many fighters to train

also, Viloria and Pacman are on the same card Nov. 18th, so it might be a conflict for Roach himself to be able to give complete attention to both fighters in the same night

Anyways, I found out that Viloria is no longer training with Freddie Roach. I guess Roach is too focus on Pacquiao and Viloria team, decided to move on. He's training with Ruben Gomez. Not too sure if the new trainer is permanent or temporary...But either way, I thought I pass the info. because I have not seen no "press" on it...
maybe you didn't get the memo that Viloria sucks ****. Roach doesn't work with quitters or losers.

          not really.

Freddie would have enough time along with Justin to train both Pacman and Viloria.

Viloria just chose to try somethin different. Gomez was his cutman in his last loss and i guess he told Viloria he could do better things for him.

Freddie would have a busy day though on NOV 18, because he trains VANES too who is also on the Pacman undercard.

lolllll good one man, and I agree.

He showed no heart and lost in a very lopsided fight to Nino. I dont even know why he got a rematch.

Viloria needs to really show something in this rematch. This is it for his career, either he wins this fight big or it's over for him. He showed alot of weaknesses in the Nino fight, he looked absolutely horrible. The second he saw this guy could take his punch, he didn't try to work for it. He knew he was losing late, and didn't make a serious attempt to turn the bout around. He needs to do something spectacular to get back in good graces with the establishment.
