I went to the gym today to watch Manuel Roman spar against Brian Viloria. I thought, Roman got the best of Viloria, but it could of been a off day for him. Anyways, I found out that Viloria is no longer training with Freddie Roach. I guess Roach is too focus on Pacquiao and Viloria team, decided to move on. He's training with Ruben Gomez. Not too sure if the new trainer is permanent or temporary...But either way, I thought I pass the info. because I have not seen no "press" on it...

So then a new trainer may do him some good.
Some times a fighter loses respect for a trainer, and when that happens a trainer must gain respect from his fighter again or the fighter moves on because they're not insync anymore and the fighter doesn't listen to his trainer anymore and when that happens its no good for the fighter or the trainer.Comment

Well to be honest, I'm not too sure. I've known Gomez for years. More like a good acquaintance. He's usually works in corners and has experience. And has been involve with boxing for years. But to my knowledge has never been a "primary" trainer. He used to work in Johnny Tapia corner for years and others too.Comment

Ya, he's training him. So, I guess we'll find out how the change works for Viloria. But today, he didn't look too hot. He sparred with Manuel Roman and Giovanni Segura. But, it could of been an off day....so who really knows...Comment
