Margarito is not even a big a name as Baldomir, WW is the deepest division in boxing. Surely there is a big name out there for Margarito other than Mayweather.

i do agree about talent wise, mayweather is one of the greatest of all time, there is no doubt about it when you see 1 or 2 fights where he even gets hit clean throughout an entire career on tv. Whereas most fighters go through "wars" pbf just walks through people in systematic fashion, hes more intelligent ringwise than most fighters who have ever lived i will say that.

However im just basing that on talent/intelligence alone, dont blow what i say out of porportion.

Floyd seems to be the exception to the rule that a fighter is on his bicycle when he uses his legs to get away from his opponets. I guess if you can run, but run with style, people don't get on your case, as people don't get on floyds case.

If i was a newbie here i'd think Floyd was the greatest of all-time. If Floyd could beat all the top fighters that are in the weltereweight division, but avoid Margarito that will be a fighter that will haunt him forever. Just like Floyd Patterson haunts Rocky Marciano, people say he retired rather then facing Floyd Patterson. So thats how i see it going down, of course if Margarito loses the talk will stop, unless Margarito comes back even stronger, but the way Margarito trains its going to be very difficult to beat him.

Lets see after Baldomier, Mosley and Delahoya, lets see who Maywether fights next. Them more i think about it, i don't think we'll ever see a Margarito v. Mayweather fight unless he's forced into a fight with Margarito. But Floyd fans and many boxing fans are comtemp with the road Mayweather has taken so far, so we will never see a Margarito v. Floyd fight, but when Mayweather retires, Margaritos name will come up at one time when mentioning Mayweather.

I'm so sick of this ***got and his arrogance. "DLH and Mosley need him to be great". I think he is delusional. Oscar doesn't need Floyd. Floyd needs Oscar, he will never make near the money anywhere else wothout Oscar. He can talk all the **** he wants but he knows that Oscar is the man when it comes to drawing power and making money and without Oscar Floyd would do maybe half Oscars numbers. I can't wait for someone to knock his ****y ass out.

Floyd and Margarito will never happen. Floyd has his sights set on Oscar and Shane, he won't even consider fighthing Marg next year. I would ratrher see him fight Shane and Oscar but the Margarito fight will never happen.

Mayweather fighting DLH and Mosley would put some good fights on hold, both were top fighters back in 1999.

I think Floyd is close in popularity to DLH at least in the U.S.

Its not like Floyd is calling out DLH. If Oscar comes back he only wants to fight Floyd.

I highly doubt that, Delahoya was in spanish and english commericals so i think more people who don't follow boxing know who Delahoya is. I'd say George Foreman can rival Delahoyas fame in the US.
