Diaz was a jr. welterweight, the divsion he made a name for himself and the weight he fought at was jr. welterweight. He was a hbo fighter, and basicly a espn fighter. Koysta Tszyu was the champion at the time, guess what, he wasn't even looking to fight Diaz, while many even Hbo thought it'd be a tremendous fight. So what does he and hbo do.....they offer him a shot at Mosley title since they know Tszyu doesn't want to risk his title against. Diaz moved up in weight to fight Mosley, and Diaz had Mosley back pedalling for almost the entire fight. Diaz didn't have a granite chin, he had a good chin but not granite and it showed against Mosley. Nothing to be ashamed of loseing to Mosley especially when Diaz went up in weight to fight him. That nobody would have given mayweather hell, mayweather wouldn't be able to hurt him.

Because he wants to make margarito look like he beat a name fighter lol. So what if diaz move up to fight mosley that's no excuse. Mosley skip 140 pounds to fight delahoya at 147 pounds and mosley clearly beat oscar in the first fight. In my opinion i thought spinks beat diaz but oh well. Diaz beside a gift decision over spinks beat a bunch of nobodys.

You mean when spinks escape the decision in the first zab fight right? cause spinks got soo lucky that zab didn't knock him down in 2 minutes earlier.

I agree. Tsyzu was damn good against slick boxers and guys who tried to move around the ring. It would have been an interesting fight, that's for sure. Too bad Tsyzu was injured so much when Floyd was there and then lost his title in that wrestling match with Ricky Hatton...

So you're saying Mosley, who can box and slugg it out with many, is less dangerous then Tszyu who converted to being a cautious counter puncher boxer, i don't aggree, if so the Diaz wouldn't have to go to welterweight to get his TITLE SHOT.

Tszyu could punch, but Mayweather could box and his punch is under rated. I guess some people forget that Mitchell gave Tszyu one hell of a fight the first go around. Who would win, its not difficult to see who would win, of coure you would have to be a boxing fan to see who would win, too bad for you, you didn't follow boxing much if at all back then.
