All you really need to know about how good or dangerous Margarito is or isn't is that Floyd has twice turned down career-high paydays to face him.

Floyd's a smart man. Infact he's a buisness man. You may say that was career high paydays, yet a fight with ODLH would be even bigger and more money. He knows this and would rather try luring ODLH into a fight rather than what he believes a fighter nobody knows. There is a chance he could lose against Margarito if he slips up and I won't say who would beat who because Margarito has a puncher's chance though Floyd could easily embarrass him as well. The fact is Floyd won't take a chance yet when he could be in for a larger paycheck against a man the entire world recognizes.

It is easy to say Margarito has to "earn" this fight, while PBF can just go and do whatever he wants. BS, if you ask me. margarito is a true welterweight, has been fighting for just long enough (10 y) and should be the first contender in any rankings.

Floyd Mayweather is the P4P best fighter in the sport. Of course he's going to call the shots. You expect some contender like Margarito, who has not had a career defining fight yet, to force anyone to fight? You gotta be joking. Like you said, he's been at welter for 10 years. After 10 years, Cintron is still his biggest win? Like I said before, Mayweather beat a better fighter in Judah at his 2nd fight at 147 than Margarito has beat in his entire career...

Margarito wouldn't be in this position if he had beat Santos. His career went downhill after that...

All the talk about how margarito is a nobody just proves gayweather is afraid of him..because in gayweathers nuthuggers eyes .he would dispose of margarito easily because margarito has not beaten anybody...and yet ..mysteriously....in twilight zone fashion gayweather will not fight margarito and pocket some nice loot....i wonder why?...ummmm what can cause somebody not to take easy money?...and don't talk about risk because remember margarito has not beaten anybody or proven himself...i wonder why gayweather refuses to even mention margarito....

Mayweather is getting as u say easy money of over 8 million to fight baldomir in nov. The so called most fear fighter is actually afraid to fight his mandatory in williams who has many times called out margarito. You said margarito will fight williams after clottey but how can you be so sure? if margarito beat clottey then margarito could fight chico next ( rumars about him fighting chico after clottey) and if that happens then margarito should be bashing on bad for fighting a fighter that is on a two fight losing streak and is one of mayweather left overs.
