Jermain has best competition in boxing right now.

    Opinions?
BHOP won the 1st fight, 2nd fight was boring. Wright got robbed of a win. Just look at JT before they announounce the winner, all nervous. He knew he lost but praying hopes he wins or get a draw. Well, god has answered him so far.

If Taylor hits with a huge power shot to Wright but slips though his gloves to hit his face, its the exact same as a direct straight shot completly on Taylor's face.

Like someone else said, do you watch boxing or just vote for the stronger guy?
Basically, if you scored Wright vs. Vargas for Wright, then you are scoring like an amateur. If Vargas lands one crunching power punch, Wright has about 4-5 punches to land just to get back on even ground. It is about power, not about the amount of punches landed. It's the reason why if you dominate 2:58 seconds of a round but get knocked down, you lose the round (and an extra point, mind you). Winky fans, you guys just have no idea when it comes to boxing. You're the type to be right beside Winky, acting like he got robbed against Vargas and Taylor. Crybabies to the end.

Taylor will in the next 2 years become the best fighter in boxing. He's very green right now and still learning, but he beat Hopkins twice and drew with Wright. Once he develops his professional wings, he's gonna be the man.

Oh I'm delusional? I'm not the one claiming a feather fisted fighter that lands 10 punches is being more effective than a power puncher that lands 3-4 punches.

The 1st Taylor-Hops fight was easier to score. Hops did jack **** so Taylor won by default.

Moving on, crybabies. Taylor is clearly fighting the best comp right now. It's unquestionable. Ouma is top 3 at 154 and will give Taylor a good fight.

THEN He fought winky wright RIGHT afterward.

And now, when critics, writers, and fans, think that taylor deserves an easy fight, he takes kassim ouma, one of the next best option to Winky Wright.

I dont see how u could NOT like this guy. He respects the sport, his fans, himself, and most of all, he respects his legacy. This guy wants money, sure, but he seems to care more about getting the big fight then he does about getting more money from it!

This is true, I have a lot of respect for jermaine taylor... he is a good fighter with the potential to be a great fighter. Mind you that I was born and raised in arkansas. All of my friends love jermaine, I just think he got a couple of gift decisions. What you say is true though and I agree, the fact that he was able to compete and make it a close fight with then the # 1 p4p fighter in the sport.. then fight the #2 p4p fighter in the sport says a lot about taylor as a fighter.

I believe Taylor will get even better in the future, but this version of him has beaten Hopkins twice, and Winky, man thats enough, hes got Emanuel Steward on his side too, Taylor and Mayweather are just the best fighters out there, period.

Winky priced himself out even though he was getting the biggest purse of his career, he knew taylor would have beaten him convincingly the second time.

As for the Ouma fight, Taylor win by 7th round TKO. Ouma is ALWAYS open and thats not a good sign, specially against a fighter like JT, who is a good counter puncher, If Ouma keeps throwing like he does and is open it would be a short night for him. Remember Ouma was knocked down and dominated by Karmazin, a fighter who lost to Cory "Featherfist" Spinks, a natural welterweight. I know styles make fight, therefore Taylor wins by a 7th round Stoppage.

the Taylor-Winky thing i though it was a draw.

but during the fight Taylor did something that no other fighter did. That is to hurt Winky even if he was in hie fortress defense. He hurt winky even when he is inside his shell. Is winky getting tired or something the evidence is that he Winky started to move more and not come in direct like he alway did and at the end changed his style completely

But he made a couple of fatal mistake like he kept the gaurd down where winky jabbed him that is why he got swollen. If he just put the Gaurd up he would have won couple rounds for sure

i am a HUGE winky fan. I tend to be very leaniant toward winky, so when i score a fight i give the REALLY close rounds to taylor. usually. So there is no way, on my card, that taylor won the fight.

Taylor got the max amount of points i could have seen him gaining.

there are plenty of ways, on my card, that winky wright could have won the fight. He could have won 2 or even 3 more rounds easy...
