i think this guy could knock out everybody if he got more aggresive..now eventhough he dosent have the power you would think somebody of his size would have (because he lacks speed) he's still heavy handed and you can tell by when he hits somebody with a JAB they wobble..maybe he's not aggresive because he dosent want to tire..but i feel like he could get most guys out of their in 2 or 3 rounds
if nicolay valuev was more aggresive could he be a knockout specialist?

I don't think his jab wobbles people. Barret was able to take a **** load from him. Valuev is not aggresive because he is slow. If the man opened up he wouldn't be able to block- and he's too slow to use effective aggression- key word effective- so I think he'd end up just looking silly. If Valuev came out hard he'd be countered/ out manuvered all night and end up with cuts, swelling, or a being knocked out.
I like his personality but he's far too slow to do much. Still, he has a good chin and quite a huge weight so if you put him in with the Chris Byrds of the heavyweight division he can last a bit. -
Well, towards the end of the fight Barrett was wobbling from breathing. I mean, he was gased- and had been getting punched all night. Like was said...only an accumulation hurt him. Jabs did not do anything for the majority of the fight. If I only played the last round for you, you would think Valuev was a monster. You have to take the fight in its entirity.Comment

When a 328 pound man outlasts a 230 pound guy and looks as fresh in the 11th round as he did in the 1st, where a smaller man looks and is dead tired, that should tell us something. Valuev's stamina is astounding for the man his size. He can't be more aggressive in the ring, or else he would be dead by the 3rd round.Comment

Valuev cant be more aggressive, his conditioning is good because he paces himself if he went on an all out assault in the firsts few rounds he could end up in the same situation Wlad had against brewster.... completely exhausted.Comment

That is the one thing Valuev impressed me with was his stamina. Being able to get a stoppage that late in a heavyweight fight is not all that common. When a 328 pound man outlasts a 230 pound guy and looks as fresh in the 11th round as he did in the 1st, where a smaller man looks and is dead tired, that should tell us something.
