Marquez does need to fight someone of note. That beingsaid:

1. Harrison is not available because he's in jail
2. Pac and Morales are fighting each other
3. Barrera is just coming off a fight with Juarez
4. Humberto Soto has a fight date for November (the ever dangerous TBA)
5. Barrios and Guzman just came off a fight themselves
6. Injin Chi is fighting Rodolfo Lopez in November

So, you can see that there really was nobody available who is worth fighting at 126 or 130 for an October fight.

Maybe now he can schedule a fight for February or March with one of the fighters named above.
