Marquez-Jaca in Jeopardy

This was a Bull**** fight to begin with. Please, what has Jaca ever done to deserve a fight with JMM? He's a journeyman at best. At least Terdsak was a contender and considered a comeback fight (also a free show on Showtime). There is no way this should be on a PPV card, much less as the headline.

This was GBP's sad attempt at making a PPV with some good Mexican fighters in hopes that the Mexican-American population would spend their hard-earned money to watch a card that could easily be on Telefutura or ESPN2's FNFs.

Lazcano's fight is also a joke. He's fighting a guy who's fought twice (and only won once) in the last 7 years! And that win against Maussa was Maussa's worse performance ever.

The only decent fight is Ponce de Leon's and even that one could've been shown on BAD. That's exactly what this is, a bad PPV (no pun intended).

that's sad for Jaca he lost a chance of a lifetime, jimrex probably would have been paid his biggest purse ever and not too many Pinoy fighters are given a chance to fight in the states ...

Marquez has to stop fighting these kind of fighters!! 4 consecutive "tune-up" fighters is ENOUGH! ANd I thought he was going to improve with GBP.

he said he wants to clean the 126... he should start with a belt first...

Jaca is just pretending he lost his Passport or couldn't secure a Visa. The truth is he had also found out that Marquez was really gay and JMM was just after his D!ck.

Marquez does need to fight someone of note. That beingsaid:

1. Harrison is not available because he's in jail
2. Pac and Morales are fighting each other
3. Barrera is just coming off a fight with Juarez
4. Humberto Soto has a fight date for November (the ever dangerous TBA)
5. Barrios and Guzman just came off a fight themselves
6. Injin Chi is fighting Rodolfo Lopez in November

So, you can see that there really was nobody available who is worth fighting at 126 or 130 for an October fight.

Maybe now he can schedule a fight for February or March with one of the fighters named above.

He fought 4 consecutive bums......might as well rematch Turdsack to replace Jaca. If he (or his management) wanted a superfight...he had 2 years of opportunity. During those 2 years...he could have accepted the Pac and Morales fights....fought Guzman, Barrios, Juarez, Barrera, Chi, Valero or Mosquera. Yet he chose Salido, Polo, John for 30K and Turdsack. It will be 5 consecutive bums in Oct with Jaca ( if Jaca don't make it...an even worser unprepared bum).
