    ESL?

As I said before, as of now Williams is just a good looking prospect. He beat a shot Mitchell, and a Matthyse who KO'd a bunch of unknown Argentinians. I think he needs to work off some rough edges, but he will will over time. I don't think he's a serious contender at this point. Throw him in with a real top welterweight and he will be owned badly.

I'm not nut hugging here and I haven't said anything about Clottey. I just stated my opinion that while I think Paul Williams will be somebody someday, I think he's somewhat overhyped right now.
What I would hate to see is him be pushed to the top before he's ready. Yeah, he's got 30+ fights, but they were nobodies, has beens and never weres. I don't think he's earned the right to be a mandatory for anyone in a welterweight division packed with talent.

He did earn the right not only he's the mandatory challenger but he's the number 2 wbc contender. And i guess you going ignored the question about how is clottey more deserving to fight margarito?????? who did clottey beat huh? if you say guit then you got the same under 15 age brain like fer got.

or it could be that I think neither deserves it?

It amuses me to no end that with language as poor as yours, which sounds more like a 12 year old AOLer than a 27 year old man, you have the nerve to call or accuse anyone of being 15, or even insult their intelligence, just because they don't agree with you.

I like Williams and think he's a great prospect, has a lotta good qualities, but this whole argument about he can take Margarito because he hurt him with a body shot sparring is plain ******. I think you can match Williams with any WW out there and will give him fits, but Margarito is just too strong, not gonna stay in the outside and eat that jab as Mitchell did, Margo is gonna walk right through him, remember how Matthyse was able to rock Williams a few times? It takes a slick boxer with an iron chin to beat Margarito at this weight, Williams ain't it. This kid aint' ready for Margarito, this is insane.

Margarito, from what I have seen is limited in what he can do. He packs a punch, and has a decent chin, but his skill set is limited.

Wasn't it already said that there were talks with both camps but Williams priced him self out? Granted that was Margarito's version of what happened, but if people want to get on JMM for pricing himself out vs pac, then why not get onto Williams for blowing his chance to fight Margarito?

They will fight eventually and we'll find out who's the better fighter. If you can handle Margarito's power, you can beat him. Ask Daniel Santos...

Matty has punching power just look at his ko's record and you see and he hit williams with 3 hard left hooks in a row that didn't put williams down. Williams took those punches well and fought back and stop matty. Matty was also undefeated until he lost by a stoppage to williams. You act like margarito has better defense then williams lol since when margarito has defense? margarito vs williams is an even fight cause they both have decent chins, they both have power with both hands, they both are tall ( williams is taller though).
