Put your hands up if you've seen more than ONE Kessler fight? Okay... all six of you can sit at the back for the rest of this thread.

The fact that this forum seems to be getting behind this guy since Saturday says to me that people are, at best, naive for believing in a guy after ONE fight. At worst - as most of those threads seem to be suggesting that Calzaghe is "scared" of him - it comes over as sour g****s. Or, as one particular poster might put it, it's "spytefullll."

I love the Joe Blow story on this forum... a world champ that reigns for nine years yet is largely ignored or derided. Then when he gets a shot with an opponent who isn't a "bum" (by virtue of the fact that people have heard of him... strange how that works, innit?) he's predicted to get KO'd early... even though at least 50% of the people making such predictions had never even seen one fight of his, or bothered to do any research. Not even download a single fight.

Then we get the begrudging praise, and now all of a sudden before we've even heard anything about a unification match-up, it's back to The Blow "fearing" people. "fearing". As in, the sort of thing you'd say when you're five years old.



It's about time we got SERIOUS about discussing boxing in here. No "haters", "nuthuggers" or "ownage". And no opening your yap unless you know whereof you speak. (Minimum requirement: watch THREE fights of EACH boxer before you start with the yap yap yap).


This happened, come to terms with it:

i've never seen kessler or calazghe fight, i've wanted to but, i don't get many chances to watch tv these days...anyway, this is a good opportunity for one of them to make a legacy in boxing by unifying and maybe having one supermiddleweight champ

Well No one can complain about your manners... But its kinda the POT calling the kettle black NO? 99% of the posts on this site are insults and petty arguments.. Plus you dont know my history of dealing with BENJY and the likes.. But I agree .. I get sick of hearing myself.. so i can just imagine how YOU feel.. SO I promise .. as long as I can post my opinion about BOXING in a thoughtful and analytical way and I dont get responses.. LIke YOu are a MORON.. Your gay.. XXXX fighter is gay... and NOTHING else.. Then we a have a deal.. But if My opinion is blasted BY people who dont like what I say and have nothing to back it up but insults.. Then the deal is OFF .. FAIR?
