First off it was Baldomier who stated he would not fight Margarito. Second, everybody who isn't a newbie to boxing knows the Margarito is the man to beat. And no, the you Floyd fans still mention Floyd more then Margarito.

Margarito has given up on a floyd fight, but its reporters that keep asking him questions about Floyd, so he answers.

How is Margarito the man to beat when he just lost to Santos?

How is Margarito helping sell Floyd vs. Antonio any better than Baldomir vs. Floyd? Floyd is getting the same money for both and only one is the 147 champ. Also, how did Floyd screw himself by not taking the fight now for the $8 million? Floyd will have made over $40 million by May 6th of next year, assuming Mosley finally mans up and DLH follows through. After beating Baldy, Mosley and DLH, Floyd will command much more than $8 mil. I dont doubt your intelligence, but you come off sounding like an idiot with some of your arguments (especially about finances). Not trying to disrespect you or anything, but even you can't truly believe some of the things you say.

The bottom line is that a Margarito win does nothing for Floyd at this point.
