WBO welterweight champion is hoping that WBC counterpart Carlos Baldomir pulls off the upset when he meets Floyd Mayweather, Jr. on November 4, at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Margarito told the LA Daily News that Mayweather has never fought a real welterweight, giving Baldomir a 50/50 chance to win. He thinks if Baldomir wins, he will have a better chance of securing a bout with him. [details]

I will be more sure of Mayweather at welterweight if he beats Baldy...not to take anything away from his victory over Zab, since Zab beat a legit welter in Spinks, but Baldy is a big guy/thick compared to Zab.
I don't knock Zab for losing to Kostya either, since he fought Kostya when Kostya was still healthy, plus Kostya is a strong MF for 140.
