considering that markus beyer is one of the most overrated champs ever!!.......had about 10 title defences with about 8 being controversial...and even those were against fighters unranked!!!......

Kessler KO'ing Beyer was more a tribute to how **** Beyer is/was than to how good Kessler is.............Kessler no doubt is a young gun, but I can't see him doing all too well against Calzaghe....nevertheless, it will be a great fight and I hope it happens!!..
well cal had trouble of putting a bum fighter away tonight. I could see kessler stop cal but we see.

yeah well that way of measuring fighters is wrong!!

calzaghe didn't fight a bum though and calzaghe can rise to any occassion, as we've seen!!

Weird fight. Didn't really tell me too much about Kessler, because Beyer looked horrible.

No, I dont think so, Kessler is a good fighter but lets not get carried away with that win becuase Beyer was a poor champion and he is 35!!!

Add into that that Beyer is by far the biggest name on Kessler's record and I will think that Calzaghe wont lose too much sleep although Calzaghe is almost 35 as well!

Yes! Beyer was the overrated fighter, but he has defended his title against many fighters consideret stronger than him..
IMO Lacy was the most overrated champ ever. And if you look at how Joe made the other Calzaghe wins lately...

I am impressed by that. Beyer has had his share of luck in Germany, so for Kessler to go there and blow him out is a definite signal to Calzaghe and anyone else in the division. A year ago, Calzaghe said that his retirement plan would culminate with Kessler in a massive unification, and now he is not even looking at him. What does that tell you?

It tells you that he is listening to HBO and the calls for him to take a big name on in the States i.e. Hopkins.

I would prefer him to take on Kessler, Hopkins is past his best and even if Joe beat him he wouldn't get the credit because of that, whereas Kessler is 27 so....

i like kessler a lot, but believe me, he is not in calzaghe's class...

calzaghe knows this and unless there is big bux in this fight, calzaghe won't fight him.........if the fight was to happen, it would be in the UK and Calzaghe wins a Unanimous Decision.......

Kessler is good, but just too predictable and green for Calzaghe!!!
