I think if people put their Floyd-hate to the side there wouldn't be a single "No" in the poll. This is a guy who has moved from 130 up to 147 and is fighting the champ at 147. Not many guys have moved that many divisions in so little time AND won belts in each. Plus, he's looking to get to 154 eventually. There isn't a good enough argument that he shouldn't be considered the best in the sport. I have a hard time admitting Kobe Bryant/Terrell Owens/Oscar De La Hoay is great, but I have to suck it up and do it.
Soliman did "expose" some weaknesses in Winky's game, but he won. He also gave Trinidad a boxing lesson. Both of these guys are aggressive. Floyd also disappointed me with his performance against Zab...he looked vulnerable for the first few rounds and I haven't seen that in a while. Winky impressed me with his fight against Taylor. I guess my question/point is who do you think would win between them at 154 or some catch-weight close to 154?
Not to make any excuses for Winky, but he did have a "cold" in that fight, and when you can't breathe through your nose, that is a *****...he said he was sick a few days before the fight, plus you could see he was pale (which is a bit of a shock since he is more of cup of coffee with some milk), and he still didn't do so bad...it was kind of disgusting seeing him blow his nose juice on the mat, but that's being "manly" for ya.
Like I have stated many times, Floyd can't be the best because he can't beat the best: Can he beat Wlad, Sergei, Oleg, etc. ?
P4P, yeah, he is probably the most skilled out there, but that doesn't make you the best because there is no P4P in the real world, fighting on the streets...that doesn't mean the smaller guy couldn't beat the Bigger guy, but in this case, I don't see Floyd beating the fighters I mentioned above.
That's why I don't really like to hear SRR was the best ever when there is doubt he could of beaten Louis, Ali, Foreman, etc.

So you're saying that the best fighters in the world are in the HW division, as ****ty as the division is, just because they are big guys? P4P has nothing to do with size. It's a measure of who would be the best if weights were equal. If PBF was a HW with the same skills he had at 130-135, you don't think he would tear up Wlad, Oleg, Sergei, whoever?

I am not sure you can say that because "bigger" guys, are exactly that, "Bigger", and when you are "Bigger" you tend not to be able to have the skill as the smaller, lighter fighter.
That is what was so amazing about Ali and Tyson: they could move like Middle-weights, but there a so few in the history that were able to do what they could do with their body.
