This arguement is pretty weak, it would be like saying:

Ray Robinson went for Joey Maxim, Ray Leonard went for Donnie Lalonde (dehydrated by making the catch weight), but I would not have seeing them going for Ezzard Charles or Michael Spinks, therefore they are not "the top fighters"
      Very good point.

I don't think this is even debateable. P4P, I don't think any fighter today would be favored against PBF except maybe Winky Wright...

Yes therein lies the debate. Winky or Floyd? I think it is a very good question. I want to lean towards Floyd in the skills department but Winky has faced tougher competition as of late.

The one difference to me is that Floyd can adjust to any style. I think Winky will have problems with a good pressure fighter who throws a lot of punches because he will sit in his shell and wait for his opponent to stop throwing. He doesn't really counter all that much, he would rather block everything before he throws. I think Ouma would give Winky a tough fight if they had ever met at 154...

Soliman did "expose" some weaknesses in Winky's game, but he won. He also gave Trinidad a boxing lesson. Both of these guys are aggressive. Floyd also disappointed me with his performance against Zab...he looked vulnerable for the first few rounds and I haven't seen that in a while. Winky impressed me with his fight against Taylor. I guess my question/point is who do you think would win between them at 154 or some catch-weight close to 154?

Winky would beat him at 154...

But you still rate Floyd #1 p4p. See to me if Floyd claims he is the best from 154 down I have to take him at his word. And according to both of our opinions Winky would win at 154. On the other hand Floyd is way farther from his natural weight so I guess in terms of p4p I am not sure what that proves.
