There's definitely some double standards here guys, some of you are the ones defending PBF and his level of opposition and yet criticize Margarito on his and think its alright for Paul to fight this journey man. Let's be fear, Williams is facing a bum, whatever the circumstances are that's the fact here. He's also scheduled to fight Margarito on March or so I heard, so what's with the ducking argument? Its like saying Mosley's ducking PBF just because he said he wasn't gonna fight him this year. Clottey's no bum, I hope you guys start giving credit to Margarito if he beats Clottey convincingly.

      Kevin Anderson
      Oscar Diaz
      Oktay Urkal
      Delvin Rodriguez

I'm sure at least one of these fighters would be happy to take on the challenge.

Name-calling is very childish and "ducking" is a very overused word.

Yea because fighting Paul Williams on three weeks notice would seem like a great Idea for Collazo.

It's unreal some of you don't get it. Williams has fought three times and is only on this card for the exposure.

No one know who would and wouldn't have taken the fight on such short notice, but it's obvious anyone in a position of contention would not have.

It is NOT a critisism agaisnt Williams that he's jumping into a televised fight on short notice to get a 4th fight in this year and fight on a big PPV card.

Seriously, give your heads a shake.

Collazo just mentioned on an interview he's been training hard, hoping Don King could get him a shot against Cotto or Quintana since he's the one who should be fighting for the WBA title. I would bet some serious money if anyone asks Collazo if he'll take this fight against Williams that he'll be happy to.

I'd I'd bet you serious money he wouldn't. The choice isn't his, it's his handlers. And putting him in a tough fight agaisnt a very akward opponent with little notice coming off a loss is ****** match making, and wouldn't happen.

He's scheduled to fight Hercules Kyvelos that same day in Arizona. That's why I didn't add him.

You know who would take this fight in a heartbeat? A man named Emanuel Augustus. Not only would he take the fight, but he'd take young Paul Williams to school. Of course, he'd lose a controversial split decision, but real boxing fans will get to see what Williams is made of.

His match makers most have a lotta faith in him when they put him in there against Rivera, in Rivera's home town. Not to mention Collazo's a better boxer than Williams, plus is a south paw as well, this would be a good, even fight. Williams would have to prepare for Collazo in a three week notice as well, thought about that? Still, I think they're both hungry and this would be a do-able fight.

Augustus would step up to 147 to take on Williams on short notice? Sounds like suicide, but you're right, probably Augustus would do that, and in short notice too. I rather watch Williams against Augustus than the guy he's scheduled to fight.

And that don't make sense? why should williams fight a guy like collazo 3 weeks notice? this guy already fight 3 times this year. He wanted very bad to fight margarito very bad at dec 2 but margarito and his team saying bs that he over price himself lol. That's the only bs team margarito had to come up with lol.
