Joe would have to 1) make the jump to 175 and 2) cross the pond.

I sure wish he would have just said **** it like Hatton did and crossed 5 years ago, you would at the very least not be able to question his true intentions where as now whatever Joe says will be put into question because of all the talk that has always surrounded his career.

Do I believe he wants Hopkins and would come to America, yes, but only for Hopkins and if I was GBP and Bernard Hopkins the chances of me fighting Calzaghe (an unknown iin the states would be zero)...remember Nard has become quite a rich man post 2001, he doesnt need money why fight a southpaw that if much faster then he is and throws punches non stop for 12 rounds...tough ass fight to take!

With that said I would give up my only remaining ball to see this fight(yes thats right Im currently a unicycle), it is as good a fight style/intrigue wise as their is in the sport, talk about a bout that would get these boards a jumpin!

      Mothe****.

I think Hop would need a warm-up before he tryed to take the HW crown also, do you see how 1 lil victory against a mediocure opponent lile Tarver has rushed to Hops head, not to downplay his greatness or anything but he should see what he can do with Calzaghe before he steps foot in the big boys league!

          Hopkins should fight Calzaghe.
All the heavyweights are bums anyways.

Calzaghe should unify with Kessler instead.
